    A local career assistance company has an onsite wellness clinic that is hiring Licensed Nurses.     Pay:

    • $33.50/hr for first 3 months, with a pay increase upon hire

    Schedule:

    • Monday - Friday, 7:30a-4:30p

    Primary Objectives as a RN:

    • Assists the Health and Wellness Manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating an efficient wellness program consistent with the students’ needs and Job Corps goals and objectives

    Responsibilities:

    Perform duties under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Director

    Responsible for ensuring doctor’s orders are followed in the Wellness Center and the care of all patients as prescribed

    Maintain charts on all patients and compiles medical and dental records of terminated students

    Notify residential personnel of released patients

    Maintains a record of all admissions and dismissals

    Compile various logs, records and reports; for example, wellness use, examinations and medication use

    Maintain a record of all calls to on-call medical personnel

    Dispense prescribed medication

    Assist with cursory examinations, sick call, and wellness care

    Serve as on-call nurse when scheduled

    Work to ensure performance management standards are met

    Ensure that required property (equipment) controls are adhered to

    Maintain current knowledge in CPR and First Aid

    Ensure that a clean and safe health facility is operated at all times

    Monitor area of responsibility to ensure timely and high-quality services

    Work toward meeting performance standards goals

    Follow CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily

    Adhere to required property control policies and procedures

    Comply with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Quality Assurance Plan. (QAP), Company policies and procedures, Company notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures

    Demonstrate and abide by Company core values and operating principles

    Help students become more employable through continuous reinforcement.

    Maintain good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices

    Models, mentors, monitors appropriate Career Success Standards

    Participation in PRH mandated staff training is mandatory.

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point and Excel

    • Minimum 1 year experience as LPN
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and diploma from an accredited Practical Nursing Program
    • Active LPN license in Washington state
